These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TempLog ("Service"), a digital temperature logging and compliance platform operated by Mintstack AB (doing business as TempLog) ("we", "us", or "our").

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:
We use Clerk for authentication and implement industry-standard security measures. However, you are responsible for choosing a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication if available.

We offer two subscription tiers:
New users receive a 14-day free trial of the Pro tier. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, your account will automatically downgrade to the FREE tier unless you upgrade to a paid subscription.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged at the then-current subscription rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused subscription time. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at support@templog.app
If a payment fails, we will:
Locked accounts have read-only access to data but cannot create new logs until payment is resolved.
You retain ownership of all temperature logs, notes, and data you input into the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.
Temperature logs are retained according to your subscription tier:
Audit trail entries are retained permanently for compliance purposes (minimum 2 years per FDA requirements).
You can export Your Data at any time as CSV from the Reports page. If you delete your account, we will anonymize temperature logs (required for compliance) and delete personal information within 30 days.

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Mintstack AB and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of temperature logs and compliance with applicable regulations (FDA, HACCP, etc.). TempLog is a logging tool, not a regulatory compliance guarantee.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINTSTACK AB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mintstack AB and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
